Hey there,

My name is Sophie. By day I work as a project manager for a logistics company, by night I pursue my creative passion in the world of printmaking. I used an art scholarship to get an Economics degree from Wake Forest University and have been living in Atlanta since 2011.

I studied traditional printmaking techniques of intaglio and lithography at school and since moving to Atlanta have added letterpress and screen printing to my artistic arsenal. Last year I gained about 800 pounds (of lead type) to build out my own letterpress studio at home and love to take on projects for my friends. I’m also adept at using some of the more modern tools of art and design work like Photoshop and InDesign.

In addition to my printmaking studies at Wake Forest, I’ve also taken classes at The International Center of Photography and the Pratt Institute School of Architecture in New York City. My favorite typeface is Huxley Vertical and my favorite printing paper is Rives.
